We had another big family in studio this week :) which was a lot of fun! The twins were a bit less than cooperative but their photographs are an accurate representation of how they are at this beautiful age!!! We did get a few great shots through the day... these are just a few I played with today.
I love Christmas for so many reasons! One reason is that family comes home! The White's decided to get some family shots taken when all of there Children were home for Christmas this year.
Well this little guy had a special day last week being dedicated at church :). The family wanted some images to capture the day but after a while Josiah got a bit restless. So just for a break they sat him down at the piano, which he took to instantly! He looked like a little Pianist. These ended up being some of my favorite images from the day! (Just goes to show why I love the non-posed shots!)

Well I am fortunate enough to get to work with MANY beautiful families but these guys were just a joy to work with! And beautiful to boot! I would be happy to get a Christmas card with these smiling faces on it!!
Well we had to reschedule this family shoot from last weekend with the torrential down pouring...so instead we had to wade through a foot of snow! It was cold and windy at the beach but it was a lot of fun and totally worth it. I think we got some great shots. I am just heading out for the day but wanted to share one before I left! I love all the rosy cheeks!
Here is one photo of the precious miss Mylah. I did her mama's maternity photos about 6 or 7 months ago (I Cant believe how the time flies) and Mylah was SOOOO good for the shoot today! which made it easy for everyone! :) More to come later in the week !
This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph a couple of families in the studio. There were THREE two year olds a four year old and a six year old and it was a blast.
Every time I photograph a family I am reminded of the amazing bond a parent has with each of their children. These parents knew what would make each child listen, smile or sit still. It is truly a gift and one I was very thankful for! Thanks to my amazing assistants on this shoot...the parents!!! Oh and thanks to the kids for helping me find the buried treasure!

Despite a freezing morning at the beach, some thorny paths and a very excited dog we had a lot of fun and got some great shots :) Debra, I hope there are some you like!!!
What a blast I had catching up with two old friends over a photo session :) Heather and Ian started dating in high school and just celebrated their 7 Year Anniversary! Congratulations to you both and hope you enjoy the photos! It was great catching up on
the last 6 years :)
These photos were taken last year (or was it the year before???) at one of my favorite little spots. I was actually recommending it for a family shoot and wanted to take a look at what we had done with it. This brother & sister were so much fun to photograph! I think I'd like to go for a walk here this weekend :) Very nice!
As I mentioned in my post earlier this week Heather brought her boyfriend along on the shoot so we could grab some photos, they were pretty cute :) and Jeff was great to have around when I asked the girls to climb on things or lose accessories etc :) I wish we had a bit more time with just the two of them but I think we got some great shots of them together. here's one (of many) that I liked :)
Well I met Andrea at a wedding this summer and boy can I appreciate her love for photos! Her and her husband Farmer just celebrated their 1 year anniversary and she thought that it was about time to have some more photos taken (like I said...my kind of girl) I'm sure this wont be the last of Andrea and Farmer on my blog :) See you next year? :) Safe travels across Canada and I'll be in touch soon!

Here are a couple shots from a weekend shoot I did with three girlfriends. It wasn't hard to tell that they've been (and will be) friends for a very long time. I loved how easy they were to photograph naturally, just laughing, having fun, and being friends! One of the girl's boyfriends came along as well and we grabbed a few shots of them, but they'll have to wait until later ;)
I photographed Justin & Brittany's engagement photos almost 3 years ago now and was so glad to have the chance to photograph them again. We had a beautiful day for it and I was glad to be outside, enjoying the sun and having the chance to photograph friends. What a blessed life I lead! Here are a few from the shoot :)
I had the pleasure of photographing Lyman & Susan as they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary! Their children got the shoot for them as a gift because they hadn't had their photos taken since their wedding 25 years ago! Oh and the Children used the shoot as a Decoy to set up a suprise party! Smart thinking :) Here are a couple from the shoot, after 25 years Lyman still couldn't stop looking at Susan and it kept making her blush! LOVE IT!!!
Here is just a sneak peak from an "Oh My" Intimates Session we had last week! We were on a bit of a Heather overload with Heather Rose being the makeup artist, Heather (me)being the photographer and Heather being this beautiful woman being photographed. So finally after much deliberation, ordering samples from 5 companies and getting votes in from family, friends and clients, I found the Albums that I love :) They are hand beautifully crafted hand bound books with a great feel. The covers are trendy enough for me but classic enough for anyone! We offer them in a couple of sizes, 5X7 (shown in pictures below) which we have been using for intimates albums or for copies of a family book) or 8X10 which is great for a family book or any other album that you may want to have a bit of presence on your coffee tabel! I am working on another album layout now and when it's all finished I'll post it as well so you can see what kind of layout you would see in one of these books :)
I'm so excited that I have finalized this choice! Onto Canvas Artwork!
Wow I cant believe its been two weeks since I have posted! I am so sorry!! Pretty soon I'll have some new work to post as well as some new items that will be available for purchase (yay new stuff!!) We're getting settled into our new house and I am just putting the finishing touches on my new studio space (its bigger than the last one :) Which means more options!!! I'll post again soon!

Amarea got married last weekend and gave her intimates album to her new hubby on their wedding night! Now that the surprise has happened I can share a couple of images! Isn't she stunning!
I had the pleasure of meeting Marina Atwell of Velocity Entertainment last week at an event I was covering. I can tell you as soon as I walked into the room I knew it had been professionally organized. The decor and entertainment that was arranged was wonderful and I couldn't help but share a few images!
Just a reminder to all those beautiful women out there who are wanting to get intimates done but are concerned about having their photos on the internet. I will only post the images that you feel comfortable posting :) and if you would prefer not to share any, we certainly don't have to. In the end most people find the photos are tasteful and fun and don't mind sharing a few, but it is not an obligation! Just wanted to drop that in the "bucket" if you will :)

Although we took some more traditional photos of the family, I thought I would keep in the "artsy cd cover feel" for the rest of this blog post, what a blast we had, minus the wonderfully itchy bug bites I got on my feet! i also have to say these were some well mannerd children, when asked to smile for the camera they would simply say "no sanks"! Precious!!!
Well we had a great morning with this family! We went to go to that cool spot I had found with the graffiti'd building....and well, it had been torn down! Anyway I'm glad we didn't know ahead of time as we would have picked another spot and I absolutely LOVED this shoot! We have some great stuff! Anyway I wanted to post a CD cover shot for Josh before I start packing (we move in a week!) and I'll have a couple others later on today! But for now check out this drummin boy!
